Popular Arabian Nights event to be held at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort and Spa



Tickets now on sale for March 25 evening spectacular, which will feature a traditional and cultural feast for the senses

Meydan today announced that it will hold its annual Arabian Nights gala dinner at the Meydan Events Arena located next to Bab Al Shams Desert Resort and Spa. A popular annual event, Arabian Nights has continually been a great success and an integral part of the celebrations leading up to the illustrious Dubai World Cup.

Numbers are expected to top 6,000 as horsemen, patrons and guests head out to the Meydan Events Arena for the evening’s programme which features local cultural delights such as traditional folkloric entertainment Ayallah and Nashaat, Harbiya, belly dancers, henna, shisha, and an Arabian Souk. To add to the festivities, the event line-up includes a falcon display, Tanoura, horse and camel shows and rides, Arabic bands, and Dabka dancers originally from Beirut, Lebanon.

Tickets are at AED 1,000 for adults and AED 250 for children between 4 – 12 years of age, and are available for purchase from the Dubai Racing Club website at www.dubairacingclub.com. Children below the age of 4 will be able to enjoy the evening’s festivities for free.
