Luxury spas in Dubai at a discount

Dubai: Fancy some pampering at a luxurious spa? In these times of recession, feel-good services, even in expensive places, can be had without spending a lot of money.

Some spas in Dubai have modified their prices so that even the budget-conscious can still enjoy occasional deluxe treatments.

If you want to drift off into tranquil bliss as you de-stress in five-star luxury once in a while, The Spa at the Address hotel in Downtown Burj Dubai is offering some express treatments.

Anyone can get a massage, facial, foot reviver and manicure and pedicure services for Dh240 each.

Though each service lasts only 30 minutes, the price is lower than the normal rate.

A regular facial treatment at The Spa can cost Dh475 per session, while a massage can go for anything between Dh475 and Dh715. At middle-end salons and spas, a regular facial could cost Dh300.

Some of the most expensive spa treatments in Dubai can go for as much as Dh995 and what you are likely to get is just about two hours of pampering on the spa table.

If lying on the private beach all day at the ultimate vacation spot in Dubai suits your fancy, you might want to consider Burj Al Arab's "spring spa package."

For Dh550, you get a salt and oil body scrub and one-day free access to the hotel's private beach and facilities. You also get one-day free access to the hotel's Assawan Spa: complimentary use of spa facilities on the 18th floor, including your choice of sauna, steam, cold plunge pool and the infinity pools overlooking the Arabian Gulf and coastline.
